Description:
The PROFIdrive Profile Tester supports the development of PROFINET devices with PROFIdrive or ENCODER Profile application interfaces. It can be used as a tool for preparation of the PROFIdrive certification and also to run self-programmed test scripts.
V6.0 uses as controller any SIMATIC S7-15xx. It provides updated test scripts and possibility to test the PROFIdrive on PROFIsafe Amendment also without shared device functionality.
Tests of Encoder Profile V4.2 and PROFIdrive V4.2 are supported. For test automation, full functional support of console application is supported.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

Hardware requirements:
- PC: Ethernet Network Interface and Quad Core CPU
- Free space on HD: 500 MB or more
- Any S7-15xx PLC with firmware 2.6 or higher
Software requirements:
- Operating systems: MS-Windows 10 64-bit
- Commissioning Tool: TIA v19

INSTALLATION

Follow the instructions of the Install Wizard.

- Add your Windows User to the Openess User Group according to TIAOpenessUserGroup.pdf chapter 4.2.2.
