MTP Specification

MTP

Description:

This standard specifies general concepts for the automated integration of intelligent equipment, called Process Equipment Assemblies (PEAs), in higher-level automation systems, called Process Orchestration Layers (POL). These concepts can be used for the automation of modular production systems as well as for the integration of automated units into conventional plants (package units). The focus of this specification is on the automation of modular production systems in different industries.
