Product description:
The TRT42/S3 sensor is used to detect the angular position of a shaft. Absolute singleturm or multiturn with 16 bit resolution and for up to 4096 revolutions. The position of its shaft is magnetically scanned and output as an absolute value via PROFINET/PROFIsafe. A speed value is determined from the change in position over a specified time and output at the same time as the current position value. Position and speed scalings, other parameterisations and diagnosis can be done by the user via PROFINET. In addition to the normal position of the shaft, it offers a safe slewing ring functionality, which makes it possible to rotate infinitely in one direction without losing the correct 360° slewing ring position – at any transmission ratio.
The TRT42/S3 is SIL2/PLd certified.
